1. BREVET PROMOTIONS. From HRC Officer Promotions: It has been brought
to DA Promotions Branch's attention that units are conducting
unauthorized Brevet promotion ceremonies. Although the U.S. Senate did
confirm the officers who were recommended for a Brevet Promotion, there
has been no official notification from the Secretary of Defense's
Office. Once HRC (TAGD- Officer Promotions and OPMD) receives
Secretarial approval and the HRC 56-B, HRC Officer Promotions will
initiate orders and begin Brevet pay. Officer Readiness Division sends
the HRC Form 56-B to units for final confirmation that the officers were
in fact placed in Brevet position before providing the validation to
Officer Promotions. There should not be any unit promotion ceremony

Trait Screening Implementation Fact Sheet. SCT screening will be
conducted at initial military training (IMT) installations for
