2. ASSIGNMENT INTERACTIVE MODULE 2 (AIM2) ATAP 22-01 MISSION ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS (MER) TRAINING. HRC OPMD will conduct training for Active
Component (AC) Unit Strength Managers on the AIM2 Mission Essential
Requirements (MER) list on 9 – 11 February 2021 using Microsoft Teams.
The purpose is to provide training on AIM2 for the upcoming ATAP 22-01

3. HRC OPMD ARMY TALENT ALIGNMENT PROCESS (ATAP) 22-01 PRE-MER MESSAGE.
Account Managers will send the ATAP 22-01 Mission Essential Requirements
(MER) letters and Assignment Interactive Module 2.0 (AIM2) information
on 3 FEB 2021. The MER will open in AIM2 on 4 0900 EST FEB 2021 to
establish unit requirements for Officer assignments from 01 October 2021
to 31 March 2022. The MER is the unit’s tool to systematically convey
priorities to Officer Personnel Management Directorate (OPMD) for the
cycle. MER submission deadline to Account Managers is NLT 28 2359 EST

4. ENLISTED MANNING CYCLE 22-01 MARKET. From HRC EPMD: The ASKEM market
opens at 0700 EST on Wednesday, 3 February 2021 and closes at midnight
on 16 March 2021 for NCOs with YMAVs (Year/Month Available to Move)
between 2110 and 2202 and assignment report dates between October 2021 -
February 2022. NCOs identified to move will receive an automated email
at 0700 on 03 February granting them access to the ASK-EM web-based
market. NCOs who are NOT identified to move in 22-01 will NOT have

case format. Update: With the improved capability in correspondence
management process, the Case Managers are now able to send emails using
Email template which populates the Member’s Rank and the name will
