1. GUIDANCE TO SOLDIERS ON THE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF EXCEPTION TO
POLICY TUITION ASSISTANCE (TA) FUNDING FOR CLASSES THAT START 23 APRIL
2021 AND LATER. From ACCESS ArmyU: For classes that start 23 April 2021
and later, HQ ACCESS is temporarily suspending exception to policy (ETP)
Tuition Assistance (TA) funding. This change supersedes all previous
ETP guidance, including the 10 business days after the launch of the TA
program in ArmyIgnitED ETP timeframe. HQ ACCESS is developing a new ETP
process that will be initiated if the TA program is further delayed.
Soldiers who enroll in classes that start 23 April 2021 and later
without ETP TA approval will not receive retroactive TA. Visit the

3. PREPARING FOR CHANGE - NEW AR 600-8-2 SUSPENSION OF FAVORABLE
PERSONNEL ACTIONS (FLAG), AND NEW DA FORM 268. From the Flags Proponent:
The major revision to AR 600-8-2 Suspension of Favorable Personnel
Actions (Flags) was published to the APD regulations website on 5 April
2021. It will become effective on 5 May 2021 and previous versions of
the regulation and the current DA Form 268 will be obsolete. The new
version DA Form 268 will be available for download and use from the APD

106th FMSU will be deploying a Financial Management Support Team in
order to provide Military Pay, Disbursing, and Pay Agent support for the
Defender Europe 2021 Exercise. For all participating Units who would

appointment requirements, training, and coordinate funding. The Pay
