S1NET Message Summary - 25 Jun 21

 1. IPPS-A HR SUMMITS: FORT KNOX 7-8 JULY 2021. The IPPS-A HR Summit is the change management tool that delivers the tasks and stakeholders responsible for those tasks in the Release 3 (R3) environment. The HR Summit also explains how IPPS-A integrates with outside legacy processes and enduring legacy systems. In support of the Army-wide effort to train and implement the IPPS-A system, the Fort Knox Senior Commander will host an in-Person HR Transformation Summit on 7 and 8 July 2021. The HQDA IPPS-A team will deliver the HR Summit to various stakeholders to prepare the Fort Knox AOR for IPPS-A R3 “Go Live” on 21 December 2021. 2. MILPER MESSAGE 21-225, FY22 REGULAR ARMY (RA)/UNITED STATES ARMY RESERVE (USAR) ACTIVE GUARD RESERVE (AGR) SERGEANT FIRST CLASS (SFC) EVALUATION BOARD ANNOUNCEMENT MESSAGE, ISSUED: [6/24/2021 1:46:07 PM]. A HQDA Board is scheduled to convene on or about 19 Oct 21 to evaluate Sergeant First Class (SFC) Regular Army (RA) and United States Army Reserve, Active Guard Reserve (USAR AGR) Noncommissioned Officers (NCOs). 3. iPERMS JUNE 2021 SYSTEM CHANGES. From Army Soldier Records Branch, HRC: The file attached at the following link contains information regarding the system changes that will be made with the upcoming June release. Changes will impact: increased browser compatibility, “Soldier Present” option changes, the Record Review Tool signature procedure, RMs can cancel open reviews that they have erroneously initiated, and the scan button within the batch will no longer be available. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/message/945962

4. LEAVE CARRYOVER LIMITS 2021. From the HRC Leave/Pass Policy Proponent: The maximum days anyone can carry over on 1 OCT 21 is the CZ Leave Carryover Bal.  The Use/Lose block shows how many days over 60 you will have at the end of the FY, based on current leave usage; it does not take carryover into consideration.  If an LES does not show a CZ Leave Carryover Bal, then the most leave that can be carried over on 1 OCT is 60 days. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/message/946022

     a. LEADER STORIES NEEDED. From the Center for Junior Officers: We’re asking for additional input to support the development of some leader development products. We’re looking for officers or NCOs who have experienced insubordination.  Did you have someone refuse to comply with an order? Did you experience some form of disrespect?  If you were the recipient, how did you handle it?  What did you learn?      a. ARMY DIRECTIVE 2021-22, ARMY SERVICE BY TRANSGENDER PERSONS AND PERSONS WITH GENDER DYSPHORIA, 22 JUN 21. This directive implements Army and Department of Defense (DoD) policy changes to the standards for retention, separation, in-service transition, and medical care of transgender personnel, as well as the accession of individuals with gender dysphoria. Qualified Soldiers may volunteer at any time with the understanding that Permanent Change of Station (PCS) windows may vary due to deployment schedules, requirement needs, or the formation of new SFABs.
