1. PROPER CANCELLATION OF PME ATRRS RESERVATIONS TO AVOID “NO SHOWS.”  From Army G-1 to all S-1s: When a Soldier is identified in ATRRS as a “no show” for PME, they are not eligible for a temporary promotion. To ensure Soldiers are cancelled correctly in ATRRS from a training reservation, deferment requests IAW AR 350-1 must be submitted prior to the class report date. Failure to do this ultimately results in the Soldiers being identified in ATTRS as no-show. This results in the Army not selecting a Soldier for a temporary promotion and promoting a different Soldier who was not a training no show. It’s critical you work together with your S-3 counterparts to ensure the ATRRS cancellations are processed correctly to eliminate unintended consequences. If you have AC/AGR Soldier erroneously identified as a no show, please contact the HRC Military Schools Branch to make corrections.
