The intent of the yearly Selected Reserve Incentive Program (SRIP) policy of the USAR is to support leadership in meeting end strength, readiness, and force balancing objectives. It provides recruiting and retention incentives to assist in filling critical shortages. The purpose of this message is to announce a forthcoming Army Directive, changes for the Chief of Staff of the Army (CSA) Commander’s Critical Information Report (CCIR) and announce forthcoming policy changes relating to the accountability and reporting of lost, stolen, and recovered arms, ammunition, and explosives (AA&E). Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) is increasing the speed/timeliness and accuracy of the status of lost, stolen, or missing weapons and munitions by establishing a live feed dashboard to inform Army leaders.
