1. ARMY DIRECTIVE 2022-09,
SOLDIER TATTOOS, 22 JUN 22. This directive announces a change in policy
for the allowable placement of tattoos for currently serving Soldiers
and applicants for enlistment or appointment. Changes to the Army tattoo
policy allow individuals who meet all other qualifications for
appointment or enlistment the opportunity to serve. They also support
the Army’s People Strategy, our number one priority, by offering
Soldiers options for appearance that take into account professional

2. HOW TO VIDEO FOR IPPS-A R3 | ADDING A PERSON OF INTEREST (POI).

Fiscal Year 23 (FY23) minimum time in grade (TIG) and time in service
(TIS) promotion pin-on eligibility criteria for Regular Army (RA) and US
Army Reserve (USAR) NCOs. The minimum TIG/TIS requirements will apply
when selecting RA and USAR Soldiers for promotion (pin-on) during FY23
from an approved order of merit list (OML) stemming from an NCO
