1. IPPS-A UPDATE: CUSTOMER
SUPPORT SERVICES. From COL Rebecca Eggers, IPPS-A FMD: Teammates,
Go-Live is fast approaching. On 20 December 2022, Human Resources (HR)
Professionals, including all subcategories, will have access to IPPS-A.
All other users will have access beginning January 2023. (Some key
points in this message below. Visit the following link for the entire

a. Customer Support at Go-Live (20 December). We are all in this
together and we are committed to ensuring you have the resources and
help you need at Go-Live. This week’s message provides information to
make sure you know what will be available. I have attached a capability
support slide (at above link) indicating what each level of support
entails for R3 Go-Live.
b. Immediately upon Go-Live, HR Professionals will have access to
Customer Relationship Management (CRM). CRM resides within IPPS-A and
provides access to customer support resources, including a knowledge
base built into the system, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and a
trouble ticket submission interface. This can be used by you to tell us
about issues you are having with the system and can also be used as a
method for self-service users to contact you to ask questions.
c. The team released Version 5 of the User Manual on Friday, 9
December 2022; it provides step-by-step guidance on how to complete
actions.
d. Please see the IPPS-A Priority of Work Checklist (Divisions and
Below) attached (at the above link). With links to resources and
step-by-step guidance that is easy to understand, this document outlines
essential tasks units need to complete to stand up IPPS-A.
e. I have also attached (at above link) a schedule of Virtual
Reinforcement Classes available for Go-Live (classes to be conducted
19-22 Dec 22). Take a look at the classes to see if they are topics you
may need as refresher.
2. HOLLAND FOUR DAY EVENT CROSS & INTERNATIONAL MARCH OF DIEKIRCH
MEDAL APPROVED FOR ACCEPTANCE AND WEAR UPDATE, 14 DEC 22. From HRC
Awards and Decorations Branch: The U.S. Army Human Resources Command,
Awards and Decorations Branch would like to apologize for the delay in
providing an update on the status of the International March of Diekrich
and the Holland Four Day Cross (Nijmegan). After a thorough review, we
have concluded that paying a registration fee, which covers the cost of
administering the event and the medal is not solicitation. Effective
immediately, the Holland Four Day Event Cross & International March
of Diekrich are approved for acceptance and wear in Appendix D & E
of AR 600-8-22. This decision is backdated to cover the period from 31
August 2022 to 12 December 2022, when the awards were listed as “Token

3. USAR TPU NCO PROMOTIONS DURING IPPS-A TRANSITION. From the USARC
G-1: The transition to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army
(IPPS-A) impacted United States Army Reserve (USAR) TPU Noncommissioned
