a. ALARACT 077/2022, NOMINATIONS FOR SELECTION TO ATTEND THE 2023
ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT (AMEDD) IRON MAJORS WEEK (IMW) (CUI), DTG: R
231925Z NOV 22. The 2023 AMEDD IMW will be conducted at Fort Belvoir, VA
from 27 -31 March 2023. The AMEDD IMW begins with a nomination and
selection process to identify outstanding AMEDD active and reserve
component majors and captains promotable, as well as outstanding
civilian corps leaders in the grades of GS 12-13 or equivalent, who have
displayed outstanding leadership, the ability to mentor junior officers
and leaders, and who consistently demonstrate the skills, attributes,
and potential needed to shape the future growth and initiatives of army

b. ALARACT 078/2022, RESERVE COMPONENT (RC) MATERNITY LEAVE (RCML)
PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION GUIDANCE (CUI), DTG: R 232015Z NOV 22. This
message provides implementation guidance for the Army’s RCML Program.
This implementation guidance applies to covered members of the Army
National Guard (ARNG)/ARNG of the United States (ARNGUS), and U.S. Army
Reserve (USAR), and is effective 9 June 2022 for qualifying birth events
occurring on or after this date. ARNG/ARNGUS and USAR birthparents will
be granted 12 paid unit training assemblies (UTAs) within the 12 months
following a birth. In addition to the 12 paid UTAs, birthparents are
authorized an additional four unpaid UTA absences that can be
rescheduled in accordance with AR 140–1 or National Guard Regulation

(CUI), DTG: R 232025Z NOV 22. Commanders are reminded to account for all
Soldiers authorized to telework who are at their alternative worksite
and performing their essential duties during their scheduled tours of
duty as present for duty. Army Command, Army Service Component Command,
and Direct Reporting Unit commanders will ensure that accountability
reports include the duty status of Soldiers with authorized telework
agreements and Soldiers authorized situational, non-routine, or ad hoc
