1. EXCEPTION TO POLICY
(ETP) TO AR 614-200, CHAPTER 7, FOR APPOINTMENT OF MASTER SERGEANT (MSG)
TO SERGEANT MAJOR (SGM), 30 MAR 23. This memo from the DMPM approves an
exception to policy to AR 614-200, chapter 7 which allows a commander
(LTC and above) to authorize Soldiers in the rank of MSG, who are
graduates of the resident Sergeants Major Course (SMC – R) or who are
enrolled in a corresponding distance learning Sergeants Major Course
(SMC – DL) beyond the graduation date of the SMC – R, to be appointed to
SGM and to wear the SGM rank upon assignment/slotting to an authorized
SGM position within their command by Human Resources Command. See the

2. HRC - G1/S1 TOUCHPOINT AS OF 20230402. The HRC - G1/S1 touchpoint was
initiated to provide a platform for G1/S1’s to directly communicate
with Human Resources Command (HRC) professionals and the Functional
Management Division IPPS-A team (FMD). This forum facilitates the
opportunity for G1/S1's to gain shared understanding of concerns and
provide feedback on issues/trends experienced since the launch of IPPS-A
Go-Live. Additionally, this touchpoint allows HRC and FMD to provide
the field with updates on the way ahead ISO the Army’s transition to

3. FY23 AR TPU/IRR SSG NCO EVALUATION BOARD RESULTS. Attached are the
board results for the FY23 AR/TPU SSG NCO Evaluation board. The attached
list consists of all Soldiers who were found Most Qualified (MQ) or
Fully Qualified (FQ) by the evaluation board. MQ Soldiers are identified
accordingly. The 99th Readiness Division will email evaluated NCOs
their individual Order of Merit List (OML) number in the coming week(s).

4. REGULAR ARMY NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER SLC AND MLC SCHEDULING AS OF
MARCH 2023. From HRC Military Schools Branch: Military Schools Branch
releases monthly statistics of Soldiers scheduled for SLC and MLC by MOS
and the Evaluation Board OML. These numbers reflect the last OML number

5. IPPS-A ITEMS.
a. IPPS-A DUTY STATUS DASHBOARD - TRACK CURRENT & FUTURE. The
Adjutant General School has created a new 'Duty Status Dashboard'
available for field use in Adhoc OBIEE. This dashboard tracks all
current duty statuses as well as those members with future, approved,
statuses (IE: Absences). Any member who has a pending absence request
still needs to be tracked using Monitor Approvals. Attached you will
find instructions on the location of the dashboard, its reports, and how
to open it. Once opened, you will find further instructions on how to

b. IPPS-A "A DAY IN THE LIFE" WEBINAR SERIES - MANAGE CONVERTED
ASSIGNMENTS AND JOB DATA- 12 APR 23. Attached is the CONOP for the
IPPS-A "A Day in the Life" Webinar Series - Manage Converted Assignments
and Job Data. The FMD Training Team will be conducting two sessions on
12 APR 23 at 1100 ET and 1900 ET. An FMD SME provide feedback on best
way to manage Member historically converted assignments in IPPS-A and
the integration with the Member’s Job Data record. They will also

b. DISCRETIONARY ELECTION LISTING. Does anyone have a listing of
all of the Discretionary Elections and their codes? I don't know if you
all over in CONUS are seeing it but we over here in OCONUS are seeing
it, not all soldier's discretionary elections are the same. We are
having to do amendments but we would like to be on top of the curve and

Aviation Branch, Officer Personnel Management Directorate (OPMD), Human
Resources Command (HRC) will conduct a branch transfer panel between 10
to 28 Oct 23 to select officers for transfer-in to Aviation Branch.
Transferring into Aviation Branch meets future needs of the branch while
providing a select group of officers the opportunity to continue their
service as Army aviators. Officers selected through this program will
attend the Aviation Captain’s Career Course (AVCCC), and Initial Entry
Rotary Wing (IERW) training at Fort Rucker, Alabama, followed by
assignment to a Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) based on Army
