a. SUBMITTING AN IPPS-A PCS ABSENCE. “How are you processing PCS Absence requests? There has been so much discussion involving arrivals and departures with PCS Leave. I have prepared the steps that Soldiers should follow to avoid potential issues. b. MILPER MESSAGE 24-085, RECRUITMENT OF VOLUNTEERS FOR SERVICE IN SECURITY FORCE ASSISTANCE FORMATIONS, ISSUED: [21 MAR 2022]. The application timeline for selection to an SFAB is continuous. SFAB assignment considerations can be impacted by career timeline, an Assignment Eligibility and Availability (AEA) code and professional military education requirements. Deviation from Published Standard (DPS) Waivers are possible to support a Soldier’s desire to volunteer for an SFAB. See the message for more information.
c. MILPER MESSAGE 24-086, ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026 U.S. ARMY COMBINED ARMS SUPPORT COMMAND VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY, MASTER OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT ADVANCED CIVILIAN SCHOOLING PROGRAM, ISSUED: [21 MAR 24]. This MILPER message pertains to only active component LG (AOC 90) Officers, and announces the procedures for Logistics (LG) Officers requesting consideration for the highly competitive academic year (AY) 2025-2026 Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) Program.
d. MILPER MESSAGE 24-087, FY24 ARMY COMPETITIVE CATEGORY (ACC) SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER SELECTION PANEL (SOC-P), ISSUED: [21 MAR 24]. This announcement contains instructions regarding the ACC USASOC Command Chief Warrant Officer (CCWO) selection process. The SOC-P will convene on 16 July 2024 and recess on 18 July 2024 to consider warrant officers for service in specific CCWO positions within USASOC for FY25.
e. MILPER MESSAGE 24-089, SELECTIVE RETENTION BONUS (SRB) PROGRAM, ISSUED: [22 MAR 24]. This MILPER message announces changes to the Regular Army Selective Retention Bonus (SRB) program. Any changes to the SRB program will be announced in a subsequent MILPER message.
f. MILPER MESSAGE 24-090, UPDATE TO RECLASSIFICATION IN/OUT CALLS, ISSUED: [21 MAR 24]. This message is used for Regular Army reclassification purposes in conjunction with above references. In/Out calls are changed as needed based on the strength of the military occupational specialty (MOS) and are immediately posted on the Army’s RETAIN system. The In/Out call data on RETAIN takes precedence when a discrepancy exists between RETAIN and the current MILPER message.
g. MILPER MESSAGE 24-091, UNITED STATES ARMY RESERVE (USAR) WARRANT OFFICER SELECTION BOARD RESULTS MARCH 2024, ISSUED: [21 MAR 24].
h. MILPER MESSAGE 24-092, MAY 2024 AVIATION COMMISSIONED OFFICER AND OTHER CAREER MANAGEMENT FIELD AVIATION OFFICER APPOINTMENT TO AVIATION WARRANT OFFICER SELECTION BOARD, ISSUED: [22 MAR 24].
