1. SMARTVOUCHER ISSUES - AFRICOM REDEPLOYERS. From: Chief, Contingency Manpower, Southern European Task Force, Africa: If you redeployed from a tour in Africa in FY24 and you are having issues settling your SmartVoucher, please contact this email address for assistance: usarmy.usag-italy.setaf-af.list.g1-individual-augmentee@army.mil . The issue is likely a result of the travel office that supports East Africa deployers using the Soldier's Individually Billed Account (IBA), i.e., government travel charge card (GTCC), to pay for the CONUS-based commercial flights returning them home station or demobilization station. Use of IBA is counter to Army deployment order processes, which direct use of a Centrally Billed Account (CBA). i.e., the line of accounting on the deployment order, to fund commercial travel.
