     b. BASIC ALLOWANCE FOR HOUSING RECERTIFICATION JOB AID. This Job Aid assists Members in recertifying the Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) Authorization and Dependency Declaration form (previously known as DA Form 5960) via the Pay-Absence-Incentive Pay-Deduction (PAID) tile (this function will be active on 12 Oct 24). Members must recertify BAH annually as part of the annual Personnel and Finance Records Review.      a. ALARACT 085/2024, DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY ENERGY DEPLOYMENT OF ELECTRONIC POINT OF SALE SYSTEM, DTG: R 091357Z OCT 24. Purpose: Continue to notify all units/activities of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) deployment of EPOS that began in October 2022. ALARACT 069/2023 has expired. An extension is necessary due to implementation delays to facilitate the completion of this important mission. EPOS will replace the existing automated fuel service station pedestals that manage defense fuel supply point of service sales. ALARACT 086/2024, IMPLEMENTATION OF SUPPLEMENTAL GUIDANCE FOR THE ARMY DIRECT COMMISSIONING PROGRAM FOR OFFICERS UP TO THE GRADE OF COLONEL (OTHER THAN SPECIAL BRANCHES), DTG: R 091400Z OCT 24. This message is to provide notification and for widest dissemination of ALARACT 086/2024 Direct Commissioning Program Guidance. The message implements supplemental guidance for the Army Direct Commissioning Program (DCP) for Officers up to the grade of Colonel (other than special branches). Updated policy centralizes and standardizes the Army DCP for officers up to the grade of Colonel (other than basic branches and functional areas) under USAREC, as the program manager. All previous MOS 25M (Multimedia Illustrator) duties, functions, and positions are now transferred to MOS 46V (Visual Information Specialist), with additional skill identifier (ASI) Y2 (Transition).
