1. This MILPER message will expire no later than (NLT) 27 Sep 25.

2. Policy.
a. Mandatory Department of the Army (DA) promotion selection boards will convene on or about 22 Jan 25 to consider eligible Majors (MAJ) on the Reserve Active Status List (RASL) for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel (LTC). The boards will recess on or about 7 Feb 25. Selective Continuation (SELCON) boards may convene at the conclusion of the FY25 RC, LTC, APL, PSBs to consider those officers two or more times non- selected for promotion as a result of this board.
