2. DEFENSE ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE SURVEY VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION, 6 SEP 24. Memo from ASA M&RA SAMR-EI: The Defense Organizational Climate Survey (DEOCS) is an essential tool designed to support the U.S. Army's efforts in enhancing unit readiness and improving command climate. Developed by the Office of People Analytics (OPA) in collaboration with the Office of Force Resiliency (OFR), the DEOCS is a Congressionally mandated survey administered at the unit level. Its primary purpose is to collect comprehensive data on various aspects of organizational climate, including harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual assault. During the DEOCS annual fielding window, from August 1st through November 30th, you (every Soldier and DA Civilian employee) will receive an email with a link from the Office of People Analytics (OPA) inviting you to complete the DEOCS online. This survey includes questions about unit cohesion, leadership, morale, and work-life balance. a. ARMY DIRECTIVE 2024-10, ARMY GREEN-TO-GOLD ACTIVE-DUTY OPTION PROGRAM, 12 SEP 24. This directive implements 10 U.S.C. 2106 by establishing the Army Green-to-Gold Active-Duty Option Program Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (SROTC) Contract, and it revises the eligibility requirements for the program. The Green-to-Gold Active-Duty Option Program (G2GADOP) provides eligible active-duty RA enlisted Soldiers with an opportunity to complete an initial baccalaureate or graduate degree and to be commissioned as Army officers on receipt of their degree.
