S1NET Message Summary - 12/30/2024

1. IPPS-A UPDATE: 2ND ANNIVERSARY, SUBMIT PCS EVENT, BAH RECERTIFICATION, PAI RECONCILIATION, ACCESS VIDEO, DD 214 ACCURACY AND RESOURCES. From COL Rebekah S. Lust, IPPS-A FMD Director:  “We are quickly approaching the two-year anniversary of IPPS-A going live for all Soldiers in all three components! This time of year gives us a great opportunity to reflect upon the milestones we achieved throughout 2024. We could not have done this without the help of HR Pros and Soldiers in the field. Your engagement and enthusiasm for IPPS-A over the past two years is driving change in our Army. Since Go-Live, we’ve processed more than 6.93 million pay impacting HR transactions. IPPS-A’s Agile development decreased the time between updates, incorporated user feedback, and increased value delivered to Soldiers — reaching over 1.03 million distinct users in the system. We’ve also maintained accountability to our fellow Soldiers — processing 627,000 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) cases since Go-Live.” Visit the following link for the complete update.  https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1353408

2. SPOUSES HAVE MORE ACCESS WITHIN THE ENTERPRISE-EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY MEMBER PROGRAM. From the Army G-9:  Spouses can now view active EFMP packages in a similar format as service members, ensuring consistency when accessing package details.  They can see EFMP enrollment expiration dates, track the progress of open actions and view EFMP documents. When a spouse navigates to the "My Actions" page and clicks on a package initiated by their service member, the view will mirror the Service Member's page. Visit the following link for more information. Additionally, a spouse can view Family Member Travel Screening (FMTS) packets (in a read-only format) that their service member has initiated, allowing them to stay informed on the package status.  Link for EFMP website:  //efmp.army.mil/EnterpriseEfmp/ (copy and paste into browser). https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1353238

Users must select “Absence Type, 05-PCS Events” and choose the appropriate options to complete the request. If “05-PCS Events” is not selected, automation to support arrival will not function as designed, causing Failure to Gain and Soldier Pay Issues.
