1. TEMPORARY LODGING EXPENSE (TLE) PERIOD INCREASE. Based on a directive by the Secretary of Defense, TLE authorization has been increased from 14 to 21 days. 2. NO PCS ARRIVALS TO GERMANY ON WEEKENDS/FEDERAL HOLIDAYS. IAW Army in Europe and Africa Regulation 600-8-8, Army personnel in a PCS status are not authorized to arrive in Germany on weekends or U.S. Federal holidays. Army personnel traveling in a TDY or deployed travel status may still travel on these dates. From the USARC G-1: Congratulations to all those selected to attend the Sergeants Major Academy (SGM-A) at the Noncommissioned Officer Leadership Center of Excellence (NCOLCoE). Information for TPU/IMA/IRR Selectees: Selectees will be allowed to request attendance in the resident or non-resident courses. Please access your military email to complete a copy of the DA Form 7432 (Sergeants Major Course Administrative Data Sheet). The DA Form 7432 must be completed in full and returned before 04 January 2025 to SLDO group mailbox. Resident course seats are limited; therefore, reservations will be made based on OML standing and preferred attendance annotated on the DA Form 7432.
