(U) Purpose: This ALARACT is to notify U.S. Army Commands (ACOMs) to migrate all instances of Impact Level 6 (IL6) SharePoint and file shares to the single Department of Defense 365 Secure (DoD365-SEC) cloud environment managed by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
(U) Background: In accordance with references 1.c. and 1.d., the Army will implement cloud migration efforts across data repositories to gain efficiencies, improve decision making, and leverage emerging technologies to support ongoing operations and modernization efforts. As part of this ongoing effort, ACOMs will migrate all IL6 SharePoint solutions and IL6 organizational file share data to the DISA DoD365-SEC tenant.
